I created this sample by recording rain sound on my zoom recorder and then using a harmonic sound effect in cool edit pro. Great for sound design, film music, and weird compositions.

A sample i received from a person who went to india and recorded ambient sound there. This sample is of a man telling a children's story. It has been time stretched and edited for a more psychedelic effect.

This sound is from absynth synthesiser. I found a really nice preset and after i tweaked that until it went mad:).

Wanted to emulate the sound of a stopping / slowing down turntable for a "pause" sound effect for a video game. Feel free to reverse the sound to get the matching "continue"-counterpart =). Made in fl studio using the "fruity scratcher" effect on a simple piano note sample.

This is a recording i made of a child's toy that had dead batteries in it. The sample playback rate was slowed by the drain of the amplifier. A cataclystic, "buildup" sound effect resulted from extreme manipulation from two digital audio workstations - fl11 and reaper. The base sample was a public domain sound of a roland d50-esque sounding element which was heavily edited using volume-scaled automation, reverberation, pitch-shifting, transpositioning and trimming audio.

I took another sample from a malfunctioning arcade cabinet, this time giving off a repetitive droning hum. Listening to it without context, i imagine being in a control center containing heavy industrial computing machines.

This is a synthetic sample replayed in several octaves, run through at least 10 filters and sends and replayed several times to get a complete effect.

This is a sample made for a pack of dogs in the musical chitty chitty bang bang. This was made from various videos of dogs and pounds.

Ran my original sample thru rc20, tweaked some knobs, added eq for the lofi touch. I believe i used my personal rc20 preset to give it the crunch. I followed up with this resample using my lotus echo pad.

A great underwater sound effect. It is actually the sound of a Gulf ToadFish a rare fish that resembles a toad. Either way this sample is a great example of underwater acoustics.

Explosion sound. The explosion sound was a mixture of a the initial explosion, the a wind sound that may be heard when there is an explosion and the rumble effect that would also be picked up on. I had to re sample all of these separate operator sounds and then put the audio track in a sampler the add some final touches. These included large hall reverb and utility for the large impact explosion and rumble sound as well as panning, reverb and delay for the wind sound to give it the effect of traveling around a surrounding area with the sound slowly decaying.

This is a layered sample of multiple sounds synthesized in zynaddsubfx and processed in audacity.
